Instructions For Using The Map:
For best results with the Brimstone® Connections app, it is helpful to give the map a chance to download imagery before visiting trails where internet connectivity may not be available. To accomplish this:
1. Launch the app while you have an active internet connection.
2. Link your Brimstone® permit to the app on the login screen.
3. View the map and scroll to the trails you’d like to visit. Zoom in on the map and scroll the map to view all of those trails.
This should ensure that the imagery for those trails is cached and available when you visit the trails.
Instructions For Managing Your Permit:
Note that your Brimstone® permit can only be linked to a single mobile device. If you wish to move your permit to a different device, follow one of these procedures:
• Unlink the permit from the device it is currently attached to. You can do this in the Permit tab from
within the app. Once you have done this, you can simply login on a different device.
Or:
• If you do not have access to the device where your permit is linked, you can override this. On another
device, open the app and attempt to login. You will be given an option to reclaim your permit. This involves receiving a text message to the phone number associated with your permit. Follow the instructions in the app, and enter the code you received in the text message. This will remove the permit from the device is was previously attached
