Downhill Mountainbike Riding
« on: February 06, 2009, 02:22:55 PM »

We are interested in starting to promote downhill mountain biking on Brimstone..... the problem we have is that we have no downhill trails.  So if anyone, or any clubs are interested in building some downhill trails we have a few areas we have set aside for downhill trails.  All you have to do is just let us know by replying to this message.

Hey Brimstone,

Thanks for the interest in DH trails. I have been building and maintaining DH trails at Windrock since 2003. I just started riding dirt bikes and I have checked out your singletrack trails and I have to say I am super impressed with your commitment to offering a great off-road experience. So much so I bought my yearly pass. I have family in the Huntsville/Oneida area and I am up there quite a bit. I would be very interested in talking with you guys about DH trails in your area.

Where are you thinking of putting them? They need to be close by a decent gravel road for shutling back to the top.

Sorry I haven't responded to your post sonner but I am just finishing school in Mississippi.  Anyways that would be awesome if you'd be interested in helping put in trails.  I am done school now so I will be putting in a lot more time with brimstone and I really want to learn how to create down hill mountain bike trails.  So if there is anytime I can meet you in the near future just to talk about ideas for trails that would be cool.  Just respond to let me know your still interested and I will private message you.
