450 Rhino « Reply #2 on: April 25, 2006, 03:43:31 PM »
I have a 660 Rhino, clutch kit, 27's, was on the trail with a 450 Rhino, couldn't much difference off road, open gravel road, showed the smaller cc's. The 450 is a very strong motor, in the Rhino, it's geared to compensate for the smaller cc's.
We were going to buy a 450 because of the $ difference. The guy at the dealership, knowing us too well, said that if we put the bigger tires on it, that we probably won't be happy with the performance. He knows we buy things, and then have to change them. Knowing that he had people trading in the 450's, because they put on bigger and more agressive tires, then they weren't happy with the loss of performance. We figured we better go with the 660. We are happy we did. Hold their value a little better also. Joyce
