I understand about the disclaimer and the right to delete certain information.
I don't think it's right to delete replies to a question asked by a member of the forum. It may appear that the replies are negative but actually they are simply stating FACTS.
Such as facts about the property, the lack of abundant wildlife, and the lack of pristine streams that the article in the paper leads you to believe. I just don't think its right to mislead someone just to get them to buy a permit and then they are dissapointed because of high hopes initiated from what someone wrote in a newspaper article.
Well, I 'm not sure where some of you people have been riding on the Brimstone property...but it surely isn't the same places that I rode. My wife and I came to Brimstone in the spring of last year for the first time. We didn't have a guide, just a map and 2 quads. We started our ride on the "Blue Trails" not knowing what to expect ....and soon started taking the "Red Trails" . These trails were well marked, and the maps,( if you can read a map) were to the T. On these trails we saw deer, grouse, cyotoe, turkey and numerous species of small game. Some of the trails had " prestine scenery and landscape" but not all....as you could imagine from a place that had been logged. We stopped our quads back on trail 49 and just set , talked annd took in the beauty of nature at it's best. We were VERY impressed with what Brimstone had to offer....and the people that run the place are top notch as well....You'd be hard pressed to find better people than Mark, Erica, Shawn,Dudley and Stakk. These people didn't know us from Adam but they went out of their way to help us....AND THEY DID IT FOR FREE..... NOw we live 160 miles away but we bought season passes and made the trip 5 times last year...and we bought passes for this year and already used them once. WE ride all over the country from Utah , Colorado, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana,Kentucky etc....so I think we know a good place when we find it...And Brimstone is one of the Best. Keep up the good work Brimstone crew!

No matter what you do, there will always be someone who is going to bitch. We had a guy on the Southern SxS Riders the other day do everything except threaten to kill us. I finally locked the thread, but did not delete the posts. My opinion is to leave them there for everyone to read. If they are completely dead wrong, in the end they end up looking like a horse's rear end. Myself, I think Brimstone looks as close to heaven as it gets...(besides WV, because it is HEAVEN)! Keep up the good work down there crew!

Brimstone has Windrock beat, hands down, even with less acreage.
I agree.

yes i have seen the piggies get a ride off the mountain on the back of a atv just last year.
And Lt. that guy did threaten you and the others with his talk of the mountain taking care of you. Personally i think he had been eating the wrong mushrooms or probably what they were growing in out in the pasture
The Brimstone corp has done a great job with their task and have succeeded in keeping a mountain wilderness open for all outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. I just with they could test the exhaust decibels of motorcycles and quads before issuing permits. Nothing worst to ruin a pleasant outing than a loud offroader.
