Nancy & I won't make it for the ride but we'll try to make it for the dinner. She's a floral designer and has to work on Saturdays. I might have to work this day also, but I can arrange to get off in time to be there for vittles.

2/24: I got the schedule today for the week starting the 6th and I'll be working 7-4. I should be able to get off earlier to be there closer to eating time. Nancy will be home before I get off.

Glad weather is going to be good but anytime you can spend time with your friends is a good time if you know what I mean .

It was some of the best BBQ to be had. I'll probably regret the two helpings of beans, but what the heck, they were good too. I had a few of Chop's famous fried biscuits as well.
Great fellowship, good to see my friends again and meet a few more. The auctions were a success, but I should have brought a bigger wallet. Those black rims would have looked good on our Rhino.  Cry

After three attempts and a half of box of kleenex, Doug was finally able to watch these videos. It was a little later that I watched and I finished off the kleenex box. Words cannot express the gratitude and love we  feel for each and every one of you. Doug said "How could so many people love and care enough to do something like this for me or anyone else?" Then we realized this is exactly the group that would.
Most people have kindness in their hearts, but we live in a fast paced, hurry up, I want it now and it's all about me world and when good people stop to do random acts of kindness for one another, we are stunned.

We are so sorry we couldn't be there, but every one of you are in our hearts and prayers. Hope to see everyone very soon. We love you,
doug and Fran
